Yeah you hit the nail on the head, good ol' Don Martin was 'the man' when i was a lad...Mort Drucker, Jack Davies, Aragones, etc came a little later ,but that Martin bit is still in there. Funny about the shoes, i've never given them much thought, but now i remember my dad, god bless him, thought my drawings of feet and shoes were hilarious...hmmmmm?

your caricature has that "Jack Davis" Mad Magazine vibe!I even see a little bit of Don Martin's Artistic influence in the face of the hanging character there! As weird as it sounds I LOVE the way you drew the SHOES! As a caricature artist myself, I sometimes forget that you have to caricature EVERYTHING!!!
