While using an extremely clear simplicity, Kamensky's wonderful cartoon gets to the heart of a global political drama of historical significance. His cartoon illustrates the brazen molestation of a much weaker and idyllic cultural community by a giant notorious violent criminal, surrounded by an endlessly bleak and icy cold setting. But the alledged right of the strongest doesn't work: the aggressive fatso gets stuck in the eye of the needle of a courageous resistance. He is maybe too big to fail, but he fails because he is too stupid. Marian Kamensky has captured the most mentally disordered and scary world event of January 2026 in an impressively simple way.
