Donald Trump has surprisingly expanded his guest list for his own inauguration in Washington on January 20, 2025 by inviting Chinese President Xi Jinping. The two are said to get on quite well, according to Trump.

However, it is not yet clear whether Xi has accepted the invitation and will ignore the threat of a 10 percent tariff on Chinese goods.

The strong man from the Middle Kingdom wants a “healthy relationship” and wants people to treat each other “correctly”.

However, this requires good table manners.
