The cartoonist. Born in Perm on April 16, 1951. In 1974 he graduated from Perm Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Aircraft Engines, specialty "Dynamics and strength of machines".He worked as a loader, pipelayer, janitor, locksmith, carpenter, tower crane operator, researcher at the Laboratory of Mathematical Research Methods in the Krasnoyarsk branch of the All-Union Research Institute of Construction and Road Machinery, senior researcher at the Department of "Machine Parts" of the Perm Agricultural Academy.To somehow escape from poverty, he was forced to work from 2007 to 2020 as a hireling in an automobile office. The first cartoon was published in the newspaper "Krasnoyarsk Komsomolets" in 1974.He has been published in the regional and central media, in newspapers: Izvestia, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Literaturnaya Gazeta, Trud, Vechernaya Perm, Zvezda; magazines: Student Meridian, Smena, Nature and Man, Krasnaya Burda,Crocodile", "Shop"; Participant of Russian and foreign competitions: 1983-Moscow, winner of contests of humorous drawings of the magazine "Smena"; 1985-opening day in the newspaper "Izvestia".1986-opening day in the magazine "Nature and man". 1988-Moscow, honorary diploma of the exhibition of satirical graphics "Alternative", organized by the Union of Artists of the RSFSR, the magazine "Crocodile". 1989-Perm, 2nd prize of the All-Union competition "Ballet and Opera through the eyes of cartoonists".1991-Moscow, winner of the cartoon contest held by the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.1992-Vladivostok, 2nd prize of the All-Russian contest "Absurd Review" .1993-Chelyabinsk, special prize of the general sponsor of JSC "Delovoy Ural".1994-special prize at the 2nd International exhibition of cartoons "Jubilee-94". 1997-Tokyo, Japan, Citation Award of the newspaper "Iomiuri".1998-Legnica, Poland Special Prize "Satyricon-98" .2000-New York, America 4th International Exhibition of Ecological Cartoons from Kyoto, Japan. 2003-Kiev, Ukraine special prize of the 3rd International cartoon Contest "Independence".2017 - Barcelona, Spain Third prize in the cartoon contest on the theme of the 100th anniversary of the Great October Revolution.2020-Egypt, special prize on the topic "Scientists". 2021, Moscow, Russia International Cartoon Contest "1.5 S" on ecology and global warming, thematic prize.Some works are in private collections in Russia, Belgium, South Korea. 1996 - personal exhibition of ecological cartoons "Acid Cottages" in the Perm Museum of Local Lore.
