My sweetheart is doing biology work on a remote island in the North Atlantic Ocean, so I've been watching scary movies (which I love and she does not) while she is away.

They built a new speed skating oval near my home for the Canada Winter games. It's been open to the public for free skating. Weeee!

As kids growing up in Canada we would lie on our back in the snow and sweep our arms and legs back and forth, leaving "snow angels" in the snow. I suppose this happens everywhere it snows?
