You're right, but I doubt if either will. Both parties seem to be committed to empire.

It's a nice idea. On one hand, I now understand that Obama has to follow some conservative ideas and war tactics - there are votes to get from "war friends".

But on the other hand it's too simple for me, letting them say "Bomb Iran/Pakistan". No matter who the next president will be, he has to wipe out Bush's Iraq/Afghanistan mess.
